Mondragon is a political bookstore and vegan restaurant located in Winnipeg’s historic exchange district. Inspired by Mondragon in Spain we are organized as a workers collective. In 1994, Matthew Grogono developed an innovative technique, to cut bottles, grind rims and polish vessels into beautiful glassware; with smooth brims, that feel wonderful in your hand. Over two decades of experimentation, YGR Coop developed a diversified line of products, including drinking vessels, vases, bowls and candle holders of various colours and sizes. Each piece is enhanced when sandblasted with a northern pattern. Our patterns are created by local artists and reflect the unique ecology of northern Canada.
