West End Food Co-op

The West End Food Co-op is a non-profit multi-stakeholder food co-op. The co-op is committed to bringing more healthy and culturally appropriate food to the West End, and creating a hub for food change. The Co-op responds to the needs of all stakeholders in the local food system, and seeks solutions to shared problems. Owner-member groups include farmers, consumers, workers, and community partners. Activities include a weekly farmers market, community cannery, community food programming and the development of community owned store.

The Lotus Co-operative Ltd.

The Lotus Co-operative is a collective of workers and microentrepreneurs who have joined together to establish "a new era co-operative where people come to shop, socialize, support local producers, build and nurture community and the environment, while learning about arts, crafts, wellness and culture in a fun, inspiring atmosphere." Lotus is currently in the process of opening our new location.

First Step Worker Co-operative Limited

The First Step Worker Co-operative is responsible for the operations, staffing and programming of the Downtown Daycare Co-operative. It will be located in Downtown Moncton at the new Community Peace Centre. The daycare will offer 72 much needed spaces for children from ages 15 months to 4 years old as well as an after school program for children ages 5 to 13 years old.

Shift Delivery Co-op

Shift Delivery Co-op is a worker co-operative that uses zero emissions cargo trikes to replace delivery trucks in the Vancouver downtown core.

The Rudolf Rocker Cultural Centre

The Rudolf Rocker Cultural Centre was founded in 2007, and operates out of the Old Market Autonomous Zone (A-Zone) in Winnipeg. Named after the German anarchist Rudolf Rocker, who fled Nazi Germany in 1933, and who lectured widely in North America (including dozens of talks in Winnipeg between 1913 and his death in 1958), “the Rocker” functions as both a gallery and multi-purpose venue for social, political, and cultural events of interest to the anarchist, activist, and wider Winnipeg community.

La Ferme Cooperative Tourne-Sol

Their interest in good food, social justice and the environment led them to start Tourne-Sol co-operative farm in the fall of 2004. They run their business as a worker co-operative. By farming together, they have built a democratic, diversified and sustainable enterprise. They produce vegetables, flowers, herbs, herbal teas, seedlings, and seeds in Les Cèdres, Quebec. Everything they grow is certified organic by Ecocert Canada following Quebec and Canadian organic standards.

Urban Eatin' Gardeners Worker Co-op

Urban Eatin’ Gardeners’ Worker Co-op is a small group of gardeners committed to using organic and holistic techniques to build and maintain vegetable and culinary gardens for Winnipeg’s private residences and public facilities. We have been trained with various techniques of light footprint, integrated gardening and permaculture principles. We offer to help make your yard a place of beauty, food, and comfort by enabling people to grow their own vegetables, fruits, herbs and edible garden spaces through consultations, workshops and hands-on learning.

Nor'West C-op Community Health Centre

Nor' West Co-op Community Health Centre has served the Inkster community northwest Winnipeg since 1972. Nor' West is a forerunner in taking multi-service, holistic, team approach to health care. They provide a wide range of health related services including medical care, counseling, education and community outreach. Nor' West is the only non-profit community based health care agency in the Inkster area.

Faim Terroir

Faim Terroir is a six member worker co-operative founded in December 2010. Located in St-Felicien, Quebec, it is expanding its efforts
