The Innovative Co-operative Projects is the second CDI component. It is also managed by the Canadian Co-operative Association and the Conseil Canadien de la Coopération. The program is aimed at the creation of new co-operatives or existing co-operatives that are innovating new ways to apply the co-operative model to meet social and economic challenges. Worker co-op are eligible to apply for funding. There will be two application intakes per year.
Advisory Services Available Through CWCF
Both new start-up co-ops and existing worker co-ops are eligible to receive CDI AS funding form the CWCF. From the perspective of a group/co-op who wishes to seek advisory services to develop their worker co-op or their existing worker co-op, this is the way the CWCF's program works:
1. The group/co-op approaches CWCF to seek advisory services.
