First Ownership Co-op's mandate is to: Spread the word about the co-operative option by making co-op information readily available; Provide co-operative development services; and Undertake research to support co-operatives and the co-op sector.

 Co-op Ventures offer training and co-op development to strenghten and grow the Canadian co-op movement. Their approach is to leave all skills and knowledge in the community they serve.
