La Tierra Co-op, located in Gatineau (Québec) and Ottawa (Ontario), roasts and distributes gourmet coffees from our partner indigenous peasant cooperatives. We assist them in developing and growing their coops under a 100% fair trade model, only paying above fair trade for our coffee.

Planet Bean began roasting coffee in downtown Guelph in 1997. Planet Bean has two coffee bars serving all kinds of excellent coffee beverages created by our highly skilled team of baristas. Fresh roasted coffee beans are also available. Our company also has a thriving wholesale business which supplies cafes, restaurants, gourmet and speciality grocers, businesses, churches, universities and schools.

La Siembra Co-operative was founded in 1999 with the goal of reconnecting consumers with farmers in a sustainable manner. Our name La Siembra means “sowing” or “planting time” in Spanish. It is also a symbol for the seeds of change that our co-operative is sowing through its fair trade, educational and co-operative activities.
