La Tierra Co-op, located in Gatineau (Québec) and Ottawa (Ontario), is a worker-owned cooperative that roasts and distributes gourmet coffees from our partner indigenous peasant cooperatives. We assist them in developing and growing their coops under a 100% fair trade model, only paying above fair trade for our coffee. We believe in being fair all the time!

The Dominion is a monthly paper and website published by an incipient network of independent journalists in Canada.  It aims to provide accurate, critical coverage that is accountable to its readers and the subjects it tackles.  Taking its name from Canada's official status as both a colony and a colonial force, the Dominion examines politics, culture and daily life with a view to understanding the exercise of power.  The Dominion is incorporated as a multi-stakeholder co-op where readers, contributors, and editors can become members.

The Kootenay Bakery Cafe Co-op is currently three businesses rolled into one.  We operate a retail cafe as well as bakery production manufacturing.  We also manage a small delivery company that takes our products as well as five other Kootenay businesses out of our region going  both east and west of us.

THe Natural Burial Co-operative will establish natural burial cemeteries, supply natural burial products and memorials, that wil preserve green space and provide dignified and environmentally responsive burial options to consumers.  As Natural Burial sites are opened across the country, members will be offered the first chance to choose a grave site.
